PELTH supports effective practices that end chronic homelessness. We now seek take the insights and accomplishments of this experience to build the next stage of a funder’s coalition to end homelessness.
To that end we are offering a series of regional meetings to cultivate and inspire active participation in philanthropic efforts to end homelessness.
- Wednesday, June 25th - Pittsburgh, PA - Co-hosted by the McCune Foundation
- Monday, July 28th - Washington, DC - Co-hosted by Fannie Mae and the National Alliance to End Homelessness
- Wednesday, September 17th - Portland, OR
- Wednesday, October 15th - Minneapolis, MN
The Partnership to End Long Term Homelessness was created in November 2004 to galvanize the philanthropic leadership and dollars needed to end long-term homelessness in America. PELTH funders have invested more than $75 million directly into initiatives to create supportive housing, support homeless prevention programs, develop/improve service delivery systems and initiate new policies in government and nonprofit agencies.
Funding supportive housing and effective services to end chronic homelessness are our priority and will continue to be so. Increasingly, however, we are approached by funders who are asking for advice, collaboration and leadership in addressing many other kinds of homelessness.
We invite you to join us at one (or more) of our regional meetings this summer. The meetings are open to funders only and will involve an active discussion of how funders are seeking to end homelessness in America.
