Summary of Plan Objectives

Indianapolis aims to improve the overall system of care for homeless and nearhomeless people, both for their good and the good of the Indianapolis community.
Strategies include:

  • Strengthening efforts to prevent people from becoming homeless.
  • Improving access to, and coordination of, housing and services.
  • Coordinating service systems for special populations.
  • Enhancing services in specific areas of need.
  • Implementing the plan and monitoring effectiveness.
