Role of Funders:
What other networks exist for funders with an interest in causes related to homelessness?

The Partnership to End Long Term Homelessness is the first and only network for funders with an exclusive emphasis on fighting chronic homelessness. Other funder networks that may be of interest to you in this work include:

Grantmakers in Health is a nonprofit, educational organization dedicated to helping foundations and corporate giving programs improve the nation's health, and also addresses the issue of homelessness in selected areas.

The Neighborhood Funders Group is a membership association of grant-making institutions that seeks to understand and support community-based efforts to organize and improve the economic and social fabric of low-income urban neighborhoods and rural communities, and includes the issues of homelessness in its overall area of interest.

In addition to these funder networks, you may also wish to become involved in the work of one or both of the implementing partners of the Partnership to End Long-term Homelessness:

The Corporation for Supportive Housing supports the development of permanent housing opportunities linked to comprehensive services for persons who face persistent mental health; substance abuse; and other chronic health challenges, and are at risk of homelessness.

The National Alliance to End Long-term Homelessness seeks to mobilize the nonprofit, public and private sectors of society in a nationwide campaign to end homelessness.
